A dramatic scene in a Detroit courtroom saw the father of a three year-old girl who’d been killed, attack his daughter’s killer. Dwayne Smith was in the Michigan courthouse to attend the trial of the girl’s mother and her partner, Jasmine Gordon and Clifford Thomas.
Security cameras caught footage of Smith lashing out and repeatedly hitting Thomas..
The pair were convicted of the involuntary manslaughter of little Jamelia Smith after bruises were found on Jamelia’s body. They were described as ‘multiple blunt force trauma injuries’.
Dwayne Smith was at the trial to read out a victim’s statement, but it soon became clear that his true motive was revenge…
