December 30th sees UFC 207. And the return of a certain Ronda Rousey. She’s been out of the ring for some time and is currently preparing herelf for her return. But the early signs don’t look good.
Footage of her training with her much-criticized coach Edmond Tarverdyan has emerged and seems to show Rousey throwing some really odd punches which over rotate her wrist, quite dangerously.
“I think Edmond is a terrible coach and I will say it publicly,” Ronda’s mom, AnnMaria DeMars, once said.
“I think he’s a terrible coach. I think he hit the lottery when Ronda walked in there. She was winning before she ever met him. She probably won 99 percent of the judo matches she ever fought in.”
Rousey’s star has fallen quite a lot recently. She used to be the biggest draw in the sport. But not so much now.
