Lieutenant Clay Higgins with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana has a pretty strong message for the guy who broke into a local favorite business of his. This cop‘s recorded a video for a local Crimestoppers show and the brilliant clip is entertaining people across the world.
On July 8, Stelly’s Supermarket was broken into and burglarized overnight by a criminal who broke a window with a big ol’ rock, booted in the office’s door and took a good few hundreds of dollars. And Higgins isn’t standing for it.
This video is damn funny. Seriously. Someone needs to give Lt. Higgins his own show…
“Stelly’s has been a local favorite for decades,” he says in the clip. “The family works hard and is known to be generous. Always with a kind word for friend or stranger, the Stelly family represents southern hospitality at its best.
“If you’re the man that committed this felony, look at me, son, I’m talking to you. The sheriff likes Stelly’s restaurant and so do I. The food here is good and the folks are friendly. We’re going to identify you, arrest you and put you in a small cell. After that I’m going to have a cheeseburger here with fries and a Coke and leave a nice tip for the waitress.”
