San Antonio, Texas. A police detective was shot and killed last night, execution style, while writing a ticket. Detective Benjamin Marconi died shortly after a man parked behind his patrol car and fired two bullets into his head. The cop was a twenty year veteran of the force and was actually parked right outside the San Antonio police headquarters.
San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor said this about it all: “This type of crime cannot and will not be tolerated. I ask for the community’s thoughtfulness and patience as the investigation continues and SAPD searches for the suspect.”
Shortly afterwards, Texas police apprehended a suspect… Here’s a tweet from local crime reporter Michael Braun:

The suspect is believe to be a black male, 5’7″, who was wearing a dark hooded jersey and baggy pants.
