Snoop. He’s the man, isn’t he? There’s all sorts of reasons why we love him. The music, the TV appearance, the movies, the jokes, the social media… And if you’re a resident of the rapper’s hometown of Inglewood, California – there’s yet another reason to dig him… Turkeys.
That’s right – for the third year in a row Snoop came together with the city’s Mayor James T. Butts and a bunch of other city officials to hand out thousands of Thanksgiving meals. Three thousand, in fact.
“To be able to come back and give back when you’re blessed, to put smiles on people’s faces, to be able to feed people… I love to help because I was given opportunity,” Snoop told local news outfit NBC Los Angeles. “I’m the gift that keeps on giving.”
