Chorrillos, Peru. Armed men storm a restaurant called Campero’s Chicken Grill. The armed robbers demand the cash from the register and all the personal belongings of value from the customers. One of the customers? Holly Holm‘s next opponent, Valentina Shevchenko.
She was there with her bad*ss coach Pavel Fedotov, a man who doesn’t take any sh*t. Fedotov was packing a gun himself. And decided he wasn’t going to play ball. So he shot on the robbers dead on the spot.
He took a bullet himself and is now recovering in hospital. He’s a muay thai expert, who won a gold medal just last weekend at the World Muay Thai Championships. He’s also married to Shevchenko’s sister Antonina.
