Mixed martial arts has been in existence seemingly forever. But it’s only been a televised sport for a relatively short length of time. We can remember when the TV wouldn’t touch it because it was too ‘dangerous’. And, yeah – it can be. When you’re two lethal fighters colliding, it can get pretty damn brutal in the ring. But it doesn’t always work out that way. Sometimes, just sometimes… You get some unbelievably bad fights!
Whether it’s a lack of skills, fitness or enthusiasm, it’s quite rare, but it’s something to behold. A distinct lack of energy and technique can make for pretty funny viewing!
It can also make for some pretty head-scratching viewing too. Who remembers what happened when Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 fought recently…? Exactly.
