One of the weirdest things about Alcala, though? He went on – and WON – The Dating Game. Even though he had already been convicted of raping a minor in 1972. And, unbeknownst to producers – killed four women.
Alcala was sentenced to death in 2010 for five murders committed in California between the years 1977 and 1979. He is currently on Death Row. In 2013, Rodney pleaded guilty to a further two homicides which he committed in New York.

Rodney is now seventy three years of age is is still incarcerated. No ones truly knows how many murders he’s responsible for, but it’s thought to be a lot more than the ones he’s serving time for.
