Is Tupac still alive? On September 13th 1996, a hail of bullets took down one of the greatest rappers of all time and a legend in our lifetimes, Tupac Shakur. Well, that’s the official version of events, anyway. Theories about Tupac having faked his own death have circulated for years, but a new break in the case appears to show that it might well actually be true…
A retired Las Vegas police officer, David Myers, is claiming that he assisted in a plot to fake the Shakur’s death. Myers is critically ill and has made his confession from his deathbed in a Vegas hospital. He says he was paid $1.5m by Tupac and Suge Knight to help stage the death, pay off people, destroy and create evidence and forge paperwork.
“The world needs to know what I did. I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.” Says Myers.
Not much else in the way of details has been released, but fans across the world are waiting for more news from the man who also claims that Tupac paid an extra $50,000 to find an accurate body double to use for ‘leaked’ photos.
It was a big operation he claims. In fact, he says that more than fifty people were involved in the operation. Police, witnesses, friends, medical staff…
