Was This The Greatest Comeback In The Entire History Of The UFC…?

Darren Elkins has fought in the UFC fifteen times. Yet despite his long history and a series of decent wins (he’s beaten Robert Whiteford, Chas Skelly and Godofredo Pepey, amongst others), he’s never really caught the public’s eye or imagination. But he may well have done with this…

The wily 32 year-old American fought at UFC 209 against Mirsad Bektic on the weekend. And it looked like the younger man was due to beat him.

But Elkins wouldn’t have any of it and somehow managed to turn the fight around and grab it at the last. He’s showed incredible spirit and determination here…

Elkins basically spent the whole fight eating elbows, kicks and punches. He was tossed around and pinned for minutes at a time, but never gave up…

Then he sprang outta nowhere and seized his chance!

Is it the GOAT? We’re not sure. We still remember Cheick Kongo had the greatest comeback of all time against Pat Barry

Anyway, this is still awesome.

Trust us.
