When she was a little girl, UFC champion Ronda Rousey’s mother told her there was one thing she should not grow up to be – a DNB. What’s a DNB? It’s a ‘Do Nothing B*tch’. The kind of woman, in Ronda’s words, who ‘just tries to be pretty and be taken care of’. Ronda heeded her mother’s words and grew up into the UFC badass we know and love today. In this second episode of UFC’s 190 Embedded series, Ronda has a message to say to people who criticize her for looking too masculine – she looks the way she needs to look to get the job done. Ronda’s no stranger to speaking her mind, something she proved recently when she called out Floyd Mayweather after accepting her Fighter of the Year award at the ESPYs.
That time she just had Floyd Mayweather in her sights. This time she’s got something to say to all those critics who think she doesn’t look feminine and should have done all she could to grow up and just look pretty. This is one powerful lady who listened to her mom when she was a kid. If there’s one thing you can say about Ronda Rousey, it’s that she’s ain’t no DNB.
