We told you yesterday how Rafael Dos Anjos had pulled out of his fight against Conor McGregor at UFC 196. The bout was due to go down on March 5th and when Dos Anjos announced his broken foot, it left many McGregor fans dejected. But a replacement fighter has stepped up… Nate Diaz.
Dana White is throwing a little shade on Diaz already though, by saying this: “First we called Jose Aldo; Jose Aldo turned the fight down. We called Frankie Edgar; Frankie Edgar turned the fight down. Those are two guys everybody was talking about. A lot of guys wanted this fight, but we ended up with Nate Diaz. We felt this was the fight to make and the fight the fans wanted to see.”
White confirmed that Diaz would be replacing Dos Anjos in this tweet:

We don’t get the impression that The Notorious respects his opponents all that much. So he’s gonna be confident going into the fight…
Line them up on their knees with their hands out. I want them to beg me. pic.twitter.com/YCYf0QslNR

Although Nate’s gonna put up a fight, no doubt.
He's going to have to get on his knees and beg…

Let’s remind ourselves again how Diaz called out Conor recently…
You might regret having said that, man!
