Kanye West Thinks He’s The ‘Greatest Living Rock Star’. Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Has A Message For Him

Kanye West is rarely out of the news for kicking up some controversy or other. Whether it’s invading the stage at an awards ceremony to tell the audience who should have won instead of Taylor Swift, or whether it’s upsetting Christians by posing as Jesus on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, the rapper can’t seem to help himself. Recently he declared himself to be the ‘greatest living rock star’. Now we don’t know about you, but when we hear the words ‘rock star’, we don’t immediately think of Kanye West. We think of one of those long-haired dudes from the rock bands of old like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, AC/DC and Iron Maiden. When we hear ‘rock star’, we think of the Lizard King Jim Morrison in his leather pants; we think of Jimi Hendrix on his knees, setting fire to his guitar; we think of Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off a bat live on stage or the hell-raising Who drummer Keith Moon blowing up his kit on the set of the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour back in ’67.

As we say, when we hear the words ‘rock star’, we don’t think of Kanye West.

Well, as it turns out, neither does Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. After watching Kanye take to the stage at last month’s Glastonbury Festival in England where the rapper confidently told the crowd, “You are witnessing the greatest living rock star on the planet”, Taylor decided to record a message just for Kanye. Taylor’s an ACTUAL rock star, so what does he have to say? Check out the video to find out …
