This year’s Glastonbury music festival in England saw a controversial headliner for the main Pyramid Stage on the Saturday. The self-proclaimed ‘Biggest rock star on the planet’ – who’s actually a rap star – Atlanta-born megastar Kanye West. So controversial was it, in fact, that tens of thousands of people signed a petition to get the organizers to demote him or kick him off the bill altogether. Those people were made to eat their words though as Kanye went on to put in a storming performance.
But one dissenting member of the crowd was determined to annoy West with a controversial flag with a picture from Kim Kardashian’s infamous sex tape emblazoned on it. The enormous flag showed Kim and former lover Ray-J ‘enjoying each other’s company’. Check it out:
We don’t know whether or not Kanye caught sight of the flag during his performance, but we know for sure that something put him off. A couple of songs in, UK comedian Lee Nelson stormed the stage in a scene reminiscent of Kanye’s MTV Music Awards interruption of Taylor Swift…
Wife Kim Kardashian was in the crowd, though we’re not sure if she saw much all the way down there…
She later tweeted her congratulations to her husband…
We notice she didn’t mention the BJ flag in that tweet. We wonder why!
