President Obama Speaks Jamaican

Obama’s been on an official visit to the Caribbean this week. He touched down in Kingston, Jamaica on Wednesday, and the president lost no time in visiting the Bob Marley museum. Obama revealed he still had all the great man’s records, going on to say:

“The quick trip that I made last night to Bob Marley’s House was one of the more fun meetings that I’ve had since I’ve been president, as a big fan since I was in high school, and it’s indicative of the incredible spirit of the Jamaican people.”

On Thursday, the president hosted a town hall meeting at the University of the West Indies. As well as fielding questions about legalizing marijuana, Obama greeted his audience with a full-on Jamaican accent. He didn’t do too bad a job of it. Check it out.
