After dispatching Bethe Correia in an incredible 34 seconds last week, Ronda Rousey has been on everybody’s radar. That fight marked the 11th (!) time that Rousey had won a fight within 1 minute. I say it again.. WITHIN ONE MINUTE DAMMIT!
To mark such an occasion, let’s look at some of Rousey’s most incredible, and vicious, fights!
Alexis Davis
This bout lasted just 16 seconds, with Rousey flipping Davis and raining down a number of brutal punches!
Cat Zingano
16 seconds? That’s nothing compared to how Rousey made light work of Cat Zingano after Zingano flew in with an ill-judged knee. That took just 14 seconds!
Julia Budd
On the positive side, Budd lasted a little longer than those above, clocking in at 39 seconds. On the negative side, Rousey dislocated her arm!
Miesha Tate
This 4 minute, 24 second fight saw Rousey lift the bantamweight crown for the first time. Prior to the bout, Tate had said that Rousey didn’t deserve a shot at the title. But, Ronda proved her wrong, and brutally. Like Budd, Tate had her arm dislocated.
