He’s going to skulk off home with his tail between his legs and give up. At least, that’s what he should do, anyway. He tapped out after 134 seconds at UFC 203. After a serious pummeling from his opponent Mickey Gall. It’s a debut he’ll never forget.
Punk said this after the ‘fight’: ‘In life you go big or you go home. I just like to take challenges. It was a hell of a climb. I didn’t get to the summit but it doesn’t mean I’m going to give up it, it doesn’t mean I’m going to stop.’
‘I don’t know what happens from here. What if I get cut? I think that’s a possibility. Do I want that to happen? No. But who’s to say where I go from here? It’s not like I fought a good fight but I definitely want to keep going. I just fell off a bike. I’m not going to shelve it and leave it in the middle of the street. I’ve got to get back on to ride.’
