It’s not been in the calendar all that long, but Conor McGregor‘s fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 196 on Saturday night is already pretty well hyped. There seems to be a genuine dislike for each other that seems to be fueling some bad blood. Diaz has already called out The Notorious, accused him of using steroids and been called a ‘racial slur’ by McGregor (that wasn’t racist). And it’s finally spilled over.
The press conference before tomorrow night’s fight saw the two fighters face off for photographs for the waiting media. Diaz put his closed fist a bit too close to the champ’s face for his liking a the Irishman threw a punch…
It was a left that caught Diaz flush in the hand. We’re hoping it doesn’t scupper the fight. Watch what happened in full here:
