Vines. Love ’em or hate ’em, you couldn’t ignore them. For the past few years, those little six second videos dominated the internet, creating fun, laughter and memes everywhere. The app was such a smash hit, it was snapped up by Twitter for huge amounts of cash.
But the dream is over. It’s failed. It’s not so popular anymore and it ain’t making any green. So Twitter are closing it all down. Shame. We’ve had a good few LOLs from Vine in its time.
