When we see cars crash, it’s mostly in movies and on television, right? Huge elaborate set pieces using crazy supercars and things? One explosion and it’s gone. But what about it real life? How much damage can one vehicle take, do you think? Let’s take a real average old beat-up thing. Say, a 1994 Volvo 850. How many crashes can you get out of one before it’s dead?
Well, it turns out – quite a few! The guys in the video below have made a supercut of four minutes of extreme crash testing. They drive the Volvo – at speed – into other cars. They have other cars drive into it. They even try and jump three stationary vehicles, Dukes of Hazzard style!
