Fast 8. Furious 8. Fast & Furious 8… We’ve not been entirely sure what the name of the latest Fast & Furious movie was going to be. But now we do know. It’s due to be called The Fate of the Furious. Which is kinda clever. It’s a name which suggests perhaps an end to the franchise, though. Which is a little sad if that’s the case. But judging by the awesome new trailer, we’ve got plenty to look forward to.
It’s now been two years since the last movie and the first flick to be made without Paul Walker. Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez all return. And new recruits Jason Statham and Charlize Theron join them. And we’ve gotta say, the first trailer which has just been released really does have our engines revving.
The movie is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton), opens in four months and looks set to make a whole heap of money at the box office…
The movie’s not out in theaters until April 2017…
If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks to be the biggest and baddest Furious movie to date.
